“Today, access to information and the reliability of information sources are more important than ever before. Information access is still among the most important problems of humanity, not only in our country but also in different geographies of the world. Of course, there are also problems in accessing accurate and unbiased information. With the spread of the Internet, ‘information access’ supposed to be easy, cheap, and even free for some. “In Turkish academic libraries, mainly the products of companies that provide content originating from Europe and the USA are used in scientific research. In fact, the presence of platforms providing electronic content in our mother tongue, Turkish among academic collections is very low, but has only increased in the last few years.
